Needle Felting: Easter Shmouse

Hello everyone :) Today's post is going to be another Shmouse! If you are new to my blog I have done many shmouses (or should that be shmice?) in the past so be sure to check them out.

I love the colourful eggs, I wanted to use a dolls house basket instead of felting one but I think it came out quite nicely.

I really like how the hat came out. It wasn't fiddly felting the flower even though I thought it would be.

I used glass beads again for the eyes as I do for all of the shmouse.

Well I hope this got you in the mood for Easter if you celebrate it. If not then I hope it made you want to go and eat some chocolate eggs instead!

Thank you as always and til next time :)

Needle Felting: Heart Door Hanger

Hello again everyone :) Today I'm going to be sharing something a bit different, something that I haven't felted before.

The idea came to me when I was testing out a new felting pen and I was felting the shape of a heart. I thought how pretty they would look as one of those door hangings and the idea grew from there.

I think they'd make lovely gifts and there will be more on the way with different themes.

So what do you guys think? I reckon they'd be lovely in blue for a boy and there are endless possibilities!

Needle Felting: Birthday Shmouse!

Hello everybody and Happy Spring! In today's post I'm going to be sharing with you what I made my mum for her birthday. Now if you have been reading my blog for any length of time then you'll already know that I made her a shmouse for Christmas. If you haven't seen it yet then you can click here to see it. That was the first shmouse that I ever made and ever since she's tried to steel every one that I've made since. Therefore, it made sense for me to make her one for her birthday :)

So here it is...

He's ready to party! He's got a little party hat and a balloon :) I really hope that you all like him. Please tell me what you think in the comments below.

I've got a lot of ideas for spring themed crafts for my blog so stay tuned for that !!

Till next time, Lucy xx

Hello again everybody :) Today's post is going to be Valentines day inspired! I got so much positive feedback on my Christmas Mouse Sheep (which if you haven't seen you can click here to see ) that I decided to do a valentines day one!

I actually think he's really cute holding his little heart! He has glass eyes and apart from that is 100% wool.

I've really been enjoying felting these little guys and would love your feedback on them :) You can follow me here on google+ or follow me on bloglovin to always be up to date with my posts!

So here is my final piece...

They are felted waldorf dolls :)

Handmade Christmas Cards

Hello everyone :) Today I'm going to show you some cards that I have made. I've seen a lot online recently about handmaking Christmas cards and I thought I'd have a go myself. This would be really fun to do with friends with a glass of wine or even with children (minus the wine).

I saw this washi tape and just couldn't resist, the perfect thing to edge my cards with :)

These were the cards that I chose, I wasn't 100% sure what my designs were going to be so I just went for square instead of rectangular cards.

DESIGN 1 - CHRISTMAS BAUBLES

This was the easiest of them all but I think looks really cute :)

I tired it with lots of different buttons to create different looks :)

DESIGN 2 - REINDEER

This one if my personal favorite and I think it looks funny :)

DESIGN 3 - SNOWMAN

DESIGN 4 - CHRISTMAS PUDDING!

I also decided to decorate the envelops a little bit :)

I think that these cards are really easy and are probably cheaper than buying cards. I love that they'll all be different too!

Please let me know what you think and don't forget to follow me on bloglovin and google+ to be notified everytime I put up a new post :)

Thank you as always, Lucy :)

Merry Christmas xx

Needle Felting: Christmas Mouse Sheep

Hello again everyone and welcome back :) Today I'm going to be showing you what I have made my mum for Christmas. When I was on Pintrest one time looking for inspiration I came across lots of needle felted mice that were themed for different seasons. My mum was looking over my shoulder and just fell in love with them and ever since has been pestering me to make one for her. So here it is...

He came out looking like a cross between a mouse and a sheep haha ! Shmouse? Yes, shmouse. He has a little bell on his santa hat and sits up on his own :) He has glass bead eyes also :) Don't worry my mum doesn't know how to use the internet so there's no way of her looking at my blog and peeking at her present.

If you would like to be informed of my blog posts then you can follow me on bloglovin or Google+. I post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday :)

Till next time, Lucy x
